Itinerary
DAY 1: Chinggis Khaan Airport – Mongolian Nomadic camp (110 km)
Upon your arrival at Chinggis Khaan Airport at Khushig Valley, our friendly helpful team will welcome you at the airport. We drive to the tourist camp located 105 km from the airport. There you spend a day familiarizing with nomadic culture and tradition.

DAY 2: Kharkhorin (330 km)
After breakfast, we depart to the Elsen Tasarkhai (Mongol Els sand dunes). It is 80 km long and 5 km wide dunes surrounded by low hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. We ride a camel, walk on sand dunes, relax in beautifully serene nature and take lunch in a tourist camp near it. Then we head to the Kharkhorin that served as the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire. We visit the Kharkhorin museum which shows us the findings and history of the city of Karakorum. Also, we see the turtle stone monument which is considered to be one of the important remains of Karakorum, and arrive at a tourist camp and be refreshed.

DAY 3: Khorgo volcano crater (310 km)
We arrive at Tsetserleg city which is located in the central part of Mongolia and take lunch there. Moving further, we reach Khorgo mountain. In Mongolia, there are about over 400 extinct volcanos, and the Khorgo volcano is considered to be the last active volcano that erupted 8,000 years ago. Fresh-watered Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake was created from the locked flow of Terkh Rivers by hot lava that flowed out of a mountain crater during a volcanic eruption.

DAY 4: Murun city (330 km)
Early morning, after breakfast, we depart for the long journey to Murun. The day's journey is long, but it takes you through hollow valleys, plains, and rivers enclosed with colorful flowers in a forested mountainous region. Along the way, you will see the beauty of nature and the lifestyle of Mongolian nomadic families, and their main livelihood, the pastures of sheep, goats, cattle, horses, vegetables, and agricultural areas. Arrive at Murun, the center of Khuvsgul province, and take a rest in a hotel.

DAY 5: Tsagaan nuur (220 km)
On this day, we head to Darkhadyn khotgor (Darkhad depression) Tsagaan nuur sum. We drive 200km off-road through the rivers and it takes a whole day to cross the marshy valleys. Take lunch in a herder family. Tsagaanuur Sum is the northern region of Mongolia, inhabited by the Darkhad ethnic group.

DAY 6: Khogorog river – Western Taiga (70 km)
We drive to 40 km Khogorog River and 30 km to West Taiga by car. There, travelers stay at a reindeer herding family. We get to know the lifestyle of the Tsaatan people - Reindeer herders and rest well in the natural beauty of the Western Taiga. Ride a reindeer for a short distance ride. We sit around the campfire and eat dinner.

DAY 7: Shishged river (by horse 35km)
On this day, we ride a horse 35 km to reach the Shishged river. The Shishged River is the headwaters of the Yenisei's drainage basin and so-called Little (Small) Yenisei. In ancient times, the ancestors of the Mongols used to move up and down the famous Yenisei River and graze their horses along the beautiful pastures. The Darkhad Depression covers an area of 4270 km between Khoridol Saridag mountains and Western Taiga.

DAY 8: Tsant Tolgoi (by horse 40km)
We continue our trip 40km on horseback to Renchinlkhumbe sum and reaching to Tsant Tolgoi and stay in a herder family. The Darkhad depression is 160 km long and 40 km wide, and there are about 230 lakes, more than 240 streams, and hot springs in the valley. Targan lake is the largest resource of the "Darkhad white fish". Also, white moss, which is the favorite food of reindeer grows in the Darkhad depression. The horses of this region are famous as the "white horse of Darkhad".

DAY 9: Khovsgol lake (150 km)
We drive 150km and arrive at the shore of Khovsgol lake which is located in the Khoridol Saridag Mountains basin 3200 meters above sea level. We stay in a tourist camp and be well-refreshed after the long adventure. The Khovsgol lake is the clearest water lake not only in Mongolia but also in Asia, and the water life 20m deep can be seen clearly from the water’s edge. 69 species of plankton micro-organisms live at a depth of up to 5m and they purify the water of the lake. It is also home to 12 species of fish, but fishing is not developed here. it is 262m deep and geologists believe that the lake is connected to Lake Baikal by an underground channel. We stay overnight at the tourist camp on the shore of the lake.

DAY 10: Uushigiin uvur deer stone complex – Murun (185 km)
In the morning we take a rest at the shore of the lake and take ride a motorboat. After lunch, passing through the Khatgal village, we take ride to Murun city. From Murun, then visit the Uushigiin Uvur deer stone complex which is located 16km west of the Murun. In this sight, there are lots of burial mounds and deer stones in the area and you can explore a line of 14 deer stones placed close to each other. In the afternoon, travelers take a domestic flight to Ulaanbaatar.

DAY 11: UB - City tour
Take a short city sightseeing tour including visits to Chinggis Khaan museum, Mongolian Buddhism center Gandantegchilen Monastery, the central square, and shopping centers and market. Prepare for the return flight and free time.

DAY 12: Chinggis Khaan Airport (60 km)
Travelers take a return flight to the respective country from the Chinggis Khaan Airport.
