The dune is 200m high, and when you climb to the top, the dune generates sound similar to that of airplanes, so it is called "Voice Dune" (Duut Makhan). A small river flows through the northern edge of the Khongor Sands, creating a green oasis in the surrounding area and providing drinking water for the surrounding families and horses. Some springs feed the Khongor River. When you go to the source of the spring and sing a song, it gushes out like water boiling on a fire.
