Itinerary
DAY 1: City tour
- In the morning, we start the trip from Sukhbaatar Square (named after Mongolian revolutionary hero Damdin Sukhbaatar), which is the heart of UB city. This unique square-shaped place is famous among Mongolians as it is easily accessible. From the square, you can see the mixture of modern urban development and the classical style columnar buildings reminiscent of the old society, the Stalinist communism period.
- Next, we visit the Chinggis Khaan museum, which is considered one of the top museums in Asia. The museum is established newly in 2022 and all the wonders of Mongolian history and archeology are displayed there.
- Then, we head to the northern lifted part of UB city. We visit a place known as "Mountain Lake". It is a historical place of UB where the main construction stones were prepared during the establishment of the city. The entire UB city can be seen from that highland. We take lunch there.
- After the “Mountain Lake”, we visit the “Wedding palace”. In most of countries of the world, the wedding ceremony is held in the mosque or temple of their respective religion, but Mongolia has a special palace for the wedding. All the decorations, from the walls and doors up, are filled with symbolic content for the "couple's happy life".
- We arrive at the Academic Theater of Opera and Dance of Mongolia and watch a performance of Mongolian national music and folk song concert dedicated to tourists. The concert lasts an hour.
- Next, we walk through Seoul Street and know more about the lifestyle of UB city and see the Beatles monument.
- We go to the State Department Store (Nomin Department Store) and there you may shop for cashmere and souvenirs.
- Our trip ends by escorting the traveler to the hotel.
