MOUNTAIN LAKES
Overview

This trip lets you explore the distinctive natural areas and unique formations around worshipped and snow-capped Mount Otgontenger Khairkhan on horseback and challenge your endurance and physical strength while enjoying nature and relaxing. During 10 days riding a Mongolian horse, which is a symbol of spirit, will allow you to get to know more about herder nomads' thousands of years of lifestyle and feel energized by the untamed wilderness. If you are experienced or skilled to ride a horse and want to climb mountains on horseback, the trip will be ideal for you. Our horse trekking trip's purpose is to appreciate nature, visit herder families, experience nomadic culture, see the beautiful environment from a higher altitude, and visit historical and cultural sites in the countryside on horseback at your leisurely pace covering more ground than you could be hiking. During the trip, you will ride a horse for 20-30 km per day, and spend nights in a tent because there are no tourist camps along the way in wilder areas. But wherever a car can drive, the car will accompany the travelers, and the local horsemen will guide the routes and help prepare for camping. A suitable and fixable saddle and boots, a protective helmet, and shin and forearm protection will be provided for travelers. And you’ll be reminded of things to consider when interacting with horses and safety instructions will be given in advance. Horse riding and interacting with a horse as a whole are a matter of great responsibility and discipline, and the life and safety of the tourists depend on the tour company, guides, ride guides, and trained horses. So, it requires the highest level of attention from the organizers to the well-being of travelers. This trip is our company's brand route in Mongolia and is a true adventurous journey that no other company offers.
