WINTER MONGOLIA
Overview

This trip offers you to get an experience of Mongolian cold winter and know more about the nomads’ life during winter. In winter, herders move to a place with shelters for the livestock from the snowstorm and call it a "winter encampment". In the short time of the trip, you will visit the main tourist spots in the central region, as well as you will ride a camel, take a bath in a hot spring in a snow-covered mountain valley, breathe by cold fresh air, walk on a snowy mountain, and live with a herder family for a day or two. Along with visiting the historical museum of the famous city of Kharkhorin, and Erdenezuu Monastery, the largest Buddhist center of Mongolia, we will also travel to the strictly protected area of Khustain Nuruu National Park where the wild horses and deer roam freely. Further, you will take a city tour and learn more about the rich heritage of Mongolian history and tradition.
